The ESTEBAN MAXERA TRIO proposal mixes various South American and funk musical genres, using the language of jazz and improvisation as platforms to develop Esteban’s compositions, the bassist. The trio is from Rosario, Argentina. In the previous European tour the trio performed at Summerjazz in Cádiz (Spain) sharing the stage with the Spanish pianist Chano Domínguez. The last album sees the special participation of the legendary Uruguayan pianist Hugo Fattoruso (Grammy Award winner in 2019) and Thiago Espírito Santo on guitar (Brazilian musician). On this European summer tour they will also play Norway for the first time.
