Joan As Police Woman is one of the most extravagant female songwriter.
During her Tour on the occasion of ‘Joananthology’ publication, her new multi-album she stops in Padua.
Joan is a multi-instrumentalist performer from New York. Over the years she has collaborated with artists like Elton John, Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright, Antony and Battiato.
After ‘Damned Devotion’, Joan As Police Woman present her new album that is the anthology of the last fifteen years of her musical career, ranging in genres and influences, highlighting the dedication to experimentation towards music and art in broad sense.
Joan will perform a solo exhibition, returning to the origins of the sound she make, including piano, guitar, her unique voice and her presence-wise.
The concert starts the festival “AAVV – Autori Vari Indipendenti”, organized by Veneto Jazz. The festival is dedicated to the independent rock, electronic music and contemporary singer-songwriter.
